Cum laude for ICELDA project associate at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen
Congratulations to Sophie Gruhn, who recently received her MA degree in Multilingualism from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Sophie graduated with distinction on this newly instituted degree, which is for the greater part taught from the RUG campus in Leeuwarden. Sophie recently developed a new Test of Emergent Literacy (TEL) for ICELDA, and currently works at the Cochlear Implant Centre Wilhelm Hirte in Hannover. Not only did she serve as ICELDA project associate earlier this year, but her dissertation for the MA was supervised by ICELDA CEO Albert Weideman. Sophie is also a research fellow at the University of the Free State. Our best wishes accompany her in her future career.
